Each one of us is on the spiritual path - the path to recognizing, realizing, and ultimately fully expressing our Divine potential. We can choose to be conscious as we walk this path, or unconscious. There is less suffering on the conscious walk. Spiritual practice is the means we use to stay conscious on the path. We ‘practice’ spirituality, like one would practice an instrument, through inner and outer ‘work’.

Inner practice includes a regular commitment to prayer and/or meditation. A regular prayer and meditation practice opens space within you to receive divine guidance and to cleanse the subconscious mind. It greases the gears of your everyday life and moves you closer to your divine nature. Inner practice also includes faithfulness to deepening your understanding of yourself, answering questions such as “What am I? How do I limit myself? What am I committed to? What future calls me to be?” Such understanding helps you identify blocks and awaken to what is possible.

Outer practice includes being in spiritual community with others, celebrating together the unlimited and only true power we call God, being in service to your spiritual community and the world, and expressing the perfection that you authentically are in your daily life.

Scripture says we are made in the image and likeness of God. Jesus said, “You are gods!” Are you living with this understanding of yourself? It’s time to wake up! Walk the path with full awareness and see what wonders the infinite Intelligence we call Spirit, will make happen through you.
