How do we grow our church? Everything happens in consciousness, and prayer is what builds our consciousness. As an outgrowth of the monthly Prayer Consciousness Circle, a set of twelve affirmations emerged. These affirmations energetically support the growth of our community and communicate who we are, present and future. Each participant in the prayer circle has taken one of these affirmations and is holding it in prayer during his/her personal prayer time. In addition, during each Sunday service, our congregation affirms together the affirmation assigned to the current month.

We are excited about being of one mind as we set our intention for Abundant Life Unity to experience unlimited growth while supporting the spiritual life of all who make it their home.

The twelve affirmations are:

1. We release any limiting thoughts we may hold about our spiritual community and its future. We open ourselves to the field of Infinite possibility and potential.
2. We hold Abundant Life Unity Church in the Light of Infinite Love and Wisdom, knowing that Spirit is guiding us to manifest our highest good and express our highest potential
3. We are here to awaken people to the God Presence within, to remind people of their divine Truth, and to support their spiritual journeys.
4. We are here to be a beacon of Light in the community and the world at large, so that those who enter our collective and individual space feel the vibration of Love and Light.
5. Spirit is moving within every current and future member of our community now, inspiring each to serve, lead and express in his/her own way.
6. We affirm that God is our Source as every need of our church is met by the generous giving of time, talent and treasure.
7. We extend ourselves energetically and physically, to invite people into our community who are open to our teachings and open to our Love. We continuously expand our welcoming circle to include more.
8. We affirm our vision of the following ministries manifesting in the perfect time: small groups, youth and family, prayer, pastoral care, music, outreach, production and promotion.
9. We bless each member of our community and hold each one personally in the Light. We open ourselves to be guided in how to best serve and care for each person.
10. We lift our leadership to the Light knowing that they are divinely guided and inspired. We see them practicing good self-care, being supported by the community and fully open to the flow of the Universe.
11. We bless every space that we meet in and all whom we encounter. We bless all those at the Patty Turner Center, First Church of Christ Scientist, Guide One Insurance, Fifth Third Bank, every medium in which we advertise and every company with which we do business.
12. We hold in prayer all Unity organizations including Silent Unity, Unity Institute, all Unity Churches, and Unity Worldwide Ministries. We are grateful to be connected with and supported by the larger Unity community.
